Hey folks, Harry here... With a new dub of voices... this could have been one of the best damn works of animation around. Whoever the lifeless sad sack of a voice they chose for the Detective in this piece... Well, he nearly kills the whole thing for me. Personally, I would have hired Jack Palance, and made the detective more world weary. Designing the detective to look like some fresh face Paul Walker type... Just doesn't make this one fly. ALSO, this one was SCREAMING for Lalo Schifrin to score. HOWEVER, having said that... the visual look of this short may very well be my favorite stylized look for an animation short that I have ever seen. I'D KILL TO SEE A WHOLE MOVIE THAT LOOKED LIKE THIS! Absolutely, jaw-droppingly wonderful. Just redub and score, put a bit more oomph and gusto in the piece, and try not to sound as bored as the characters in this piece. If you've ever had a problem with Harrison Ford's narration in BLADE RUNNER, officially, this makes that seem positively passionate! Check it out...
