ZATOICHI Trailer Goes Online!
Hey folks, Harry here... Takeshi Kitano's cinematic treatment of ZATOICHI, the epic long running Japanese series, is unveiled in this first teaser trailer... and it once again unveils Kitano's predilection at very quick violence, beauty and art. The detail of the wooden Japanese shoes scuffling through the hard dirt is a beautiful detail. A sound, that I don't know if I've ever heard before. As I had hoped, it seems Kitano has very much brought his aesthetic to ZATOICHI - which is exactly why I've been so excited about this project. Check it out!
