The insanely overpriced Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 6 contains three episodes – “First Steps” (2.5), “Growing Pains” (2.6) and “Identity Crisis” (2.7). Like “Spider-Man III,” these deal with Sandman, shapechanging astronaut John Jameson and Venom, who reveals Spidey’s secret identity to the world.
The vastly overpriced Spectacular Spider-Man Vol. 7 contains “Accomplices” (2.8), “Probable Cause” (2.9) and “Gangland” (2.10). In the first, Doc Ock, Silver Sable and Hammerhead go head to head for control of the New York mob. In the second, Spidey takes on Shocker, Ricochet and Ox. Villains from the first two episodes then come together for the third.
