What an idiot. Guys, if you started following Gawker Media's example and started banning morons like this, your comments section would be really worthwhile.
Hey Capone, thanks for setting this up.

I've always felt Chicago gets shafted with these type of events. Recently theres been some great stuff happeneing here. Timcrimes screened a few weeks ago, then The Son of Rambow event that just happened (you going to put up my review?), and now this. Finally it's good to be in Chi-town.

Capone, you shuffle these Studios "tickets" like its something special- Gimme a Break dude- We can listen to 720 and call in to win these tickets or half the shit the studios make you pawn. So did anyone win that Giant DVD giveaway the studio made you give out?

Chicago gets shafted on events like this? CHICAGO? You gotta be fucking kidding me. The #3 media market in the United States doesn't in the most remote way get the short shrift on events like this. Christ I don't even LIVE in Chicago anymore and I hear more about shit going on there than I do in my own freakin state in regards to film festivals and promotions like this.
what about the AICN vince vaughan contest?

HEY! YA KNOW WHAT WOULD BE EVEN COOLER? IF WE COULD ALL ENCOURAGE HARRY TO PROMOTE A PETITION THAT WOULD SAVE SPIKE JONZE'S "Where the Wild Things Are" INSTEAD OF WAITING ANOTHER YEAR AND A HALF TO SEE THE STUDIO'S RECUT.
yeah, patriot, it does

or at least it did. You're right, it's the #3 market in the country, which is why it's so frusterating when I keep hearing about all the cool shit in in Austin, or when obscure movies open in limited release only in New York and LA, or when conventions like Fangoria or Wizard-con get stripped down when they come to the midwest. Like I said though, It's getting a lot better. Fuck it, maybe it's just one of those grass is always greener things. I do know it could be a lot worse.

At the end of May. Just announced in the past couple days, which is a nice 'get' for a city that may as well be Podunkville (1 world premiere for a major movie in 9 years - Sixth Sense), getting completely shortchanged in the viral marketing budget for Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and that in particular bites.

Thanks a lot Capone, and I'll see you there! The Rambow screening was a blast, those kids who asked ridiculous questions were hilarious
