Hey folks, Harry here... in the Big Apple. Yup, I was here checking this very same footage out with my own pair of eyeballs and I have to say - it is looking EVEN better - and for the first time, I'm on Chris Pine's bandwagon. I'm very curious to see the rest of his re-imagining of Captain James T Kirk's beginnings. I have an early flight, so I'm going to crash, but I'll be writing my full impressions very very soon. For now - here's the Loquacious Muse, who did not come up to chat with me. Dagnabbit.

Boiled down to its influences, Paul McGuigan's PUSH is essentially a hybrid of X-MEN and THE FURY. It is the story of extra-abled misfits who are pursued all over the globe by nefarious government types (and their own extra-abled foot soldiers) who are keen to weaponize their powers.

I am – Hercules!!
NBC will have to find something else to follow “Heroes”; the network has cancelled “My Own Worst Enemy.”
Also joining the NBC scrap heap is sophomore drama “Lipstick Jungle,” a series that had grown considerably less entertaining than Brooke Shields’ Volkswagen commercials.

I am – Hercules!!
The names on the teleplay for tonight’s installment of “Fringe” are those of co-creator J.J. Abrams and “Alias” vet/showrunner Jeff Pinkner.
It was about giant heart-gripping parasites, a Mr. Smith, a Mr. Jones, a German prison and a Little Hill.
Mr. Jones is played by Jared Harris (“Ocean’s Twelve,” “Lady in the Water”).
Abrams’ name has now landed on four of the first seven episodes of the series.
