Welcome to Part III of my exhaustive THE UNBORN coverage.

Hey folks, Harry here... Seems the year is getting kicked off with quite a bit of horror and horror remakes - for some reason, the powers at be have decided that this is the time of the year to release horror films - not late September/ October - where I personally would love to see at least a good selection of horror. Is that really too much to ask, and is there some definable reason that keeps studios from releasing a movie like TRICK OR TREAT around that time?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Now, the below review isn't a positive one, which doesn't make me happy because I think David Goyer's horror film looks fantastic. It's the only trailer that I've ever seen that has made not just one, but two different audiences scream when it played in a dark theater. I've never seen that in all my years of movie watching... it's that creepy old dude who turns his head upsidedown.

Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here, with our second 3-D screening event of next week--something really, really special for folks in and around my city of the unpredictable weather. Please keep in mind these two screenings are unconnected, so if you want to go to both, you have to enter both contests.

Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here.
OhManOhManOhManOhManOhManOhManOhManOhManOhManOhMan, am I excited!!!
Partly by coincidence and partly by design, I've got two events lined up for Chicago-area folks next week that are both 3-D in nature and both sublimely awesome.

Hey guys, The Northlander here again with an exclusive interview I was lucky enough to get with Pascal Laugier, director of the horror film MARTYRS.
I saw this film at the Stockholm Film Festival – see my review here: Click Here

Hey folks, Harry here... The greatest surprise and bit of awesome for me at BNAT X was MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D. When the film was offered to me, I almost didn't accept it because they wouldn't show it to me early - and I had ZERO word of mouth. But the folks at Lionsgate swore to me that it was awesome. Ok, their funeral, I thought. Besides, I didn't have a horror film this year otherwise, I had a perfect programming slot for it. And HOLY SHIT!

Over my several years as a rising Seagalogist I have been asked many times who would win in a fight between Seagal and Van Damme. I have also been asked who would win between Seagal and Bruce Lee. I have never been asked who would win between Seagal and vampires, but I know now that the answer is Sea(SPOILER)gal. But this is also one of those whoever-wins-we-lose type scenarios because, I'm sorry to report, AGAINST THE DARK may be the least interesting movie Seagal has ever made.

I am – Hercules!!
Rob Zombie will prove again that Michael Myers is more human than human in “H2,” a sequel to his 2007 remake of the John Carpenter-directed dead-teenager classic.
He originally didn’t want to pursue a sequel to the movie, which took in more than $60 million domestically. "I was so burned out,” he tells Variety. “I took a long break, made a record and I got excited again."
Find all of Variety’s story on the matter here.

Hey folks, Harry here - just received an email from Gary Ross in the dead of night, guess he's a night owl like me. Gary and I once spent hours talking about his father's work and plans for a remake of CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON all the way back around the time of PLEASANTVILLE... anyway, you don't want to hear about old stories, you want to hear what Gary had to say about Latino Review's story.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Well, it's that time of year again, isn't it? This time of year is always stressful, but ultimately I find it very rewarding. I don't know if I work as hard on any single thing every year as I do this Guide. It's like all 4 days of Comic-Con at once, or all 12 days of Sundance or all nearly 200 A Movie A Day articles piled on top of each other, but it's worth it. After last year's Gift Guide I was hearing from people who read it all the way into the summer months.

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.
And I’m actually really pleased by the choice.

Hey folks, Harry here... This news is exciting on multiple fronts. First amongst those is that Adam Green, the incredibly talented young director behind HATCHET and SPIRAL has a new horror project in the works - and it's not a wink and kid with ya horror like the amazingly fun HATCHET, but a ratchetted up tension fest. Something I think he absolutely capable of.

Hey, everyone. “Moriarty” here. Halloween started early in my house this year, and I guess it’s ending a little late. Fine by me.
I’m a big ol’ horror nerd, so it’s always a big holiday for me anyway. And Toshi’s three now, and this is his third big Halloween out and about, in costume, with his best trick’r’treatin’ buddy, Frannie. It’s honestly one of my favorite nights of the year, and it gets better each year as Toshi and Frannie get more and more into it.
